Prevention and Safety at Hesse Police Long-Distance Driver Meeting

On March 6, 2024, the police in Hesse, Germany, organised a gathering for long-distance truck drivers, to highlight crime prevention and safety measures on the road. Fred van Putten, managing director of TankSafe® Germany, was invited to talk about the importance of fuel tank protection.

The event aimed to educate truck drivers, dispatchers, freight forwarders, and specialist authorities on proactive measures to avert accidents, fires, environmental hazards and fuel theft.

With approximately 20 participants, the session encouraged attendees to enhance their security methods through the adoption of best practices and leveraging cutting-edge security technologies.
