TISS Ltd, based in Blackpool, UK, are celebrating having won an Award’s double at the Northwest Automotive Alliance Awards Ceremony held at the Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Knutsford, Cheshire, on Thursday 6th of November.

TISS Ltd were thrilled to collect the International Trade Award but were doubly delighted to then follow it up with the prestigious North West Automotive Company of the Year Award shortly afterwards.

Commenting on receiving the two awards, Matthew Rose, Director of TISS Ltd, said “We’re absolutely delighted and surprised to have received both the International Trade and the Company of the Year Award from the Northwest Automotive Alliance. We are a small company so it is particularly gratifying when we are up against larger global household brands. We are delighted that our strategy for international growth is paying dividends and this award reflects the hard work of all our staff, as well as the support we have received from organisations such as the NAA, UK Trade and Investment and the NWL Chamber of Commerce.”

TISS Ltd’s unprecedented growth in International Trade has seen export sales rise from 13% to 45% of the Company’s turnover in just 3 years, primarily due to their market-leading TankSafe™ ‘Impregnable’ Fuel Security and Safety Device – the only Fuel Security and Safety Device that completely prevents any siphoning, skimming and overfilling.

Whilst the International Sales growth has transformed TISS Ltd’ overall turnover, the Judges’ decision to award TISS Ltd the Company of the Year award was not only attributed to their outstanding achievements in export, but also due to TISS Ltd being recognised nationally as one of 110 companies across the country to receive the Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
