Protects the entire Sender Bracket
Think of your truck’s fuel tank as a house. The filler neck is fitted with a TankSafe® device. However, on the top of the tank you have a Sender unit.
You may be surprised at how easy it is to remove. You will also notice the pipes taking the fuel from the tank to the engine - 2 further access points for fuel theft. Fortunately, SenderSafe® can protect the entire sender bracket.
How it works
SenderSafe® consists of 2 moulded aluminium sheets which together create a protective ‘box’ over the sender unit, preventing its removal. The moveable rear plate has a number of cutaway sections ensuring the fuel pipes cannot be tampered with.
Secured underneath the tank straps, the slideable design ensures SenderSafe is suitable for all fuel tanks
Fitting is quick and easy
SenderSafe® can be fitted in less than 5 minutes. Simply secure both parts of the aluminium brackets under the existing tank straps and position the moveable rear plate over the Sender Unit, allowing the fuel pipes to extrude outwards.
The 3 separate SenderSafe® components are then secured using rivets. Please watch the animation for a graphical demonstration.
